InjuredPal is operated by Verus Mart ("Verus Mart," "we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at injuredpal@gmail.com.
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect on this page, on any form or questionnaire on it, and in messages that link to this policy. The service is connecting people who had a workplace injury with independent attorneys and legal marketing partners who may be able to help.
Verus Mart is a legal marketing company. We are not a law firm, a lawyer, or a lawyer referral service. We do not give legal advice, and we do not screen your claim. We send the information you submit to participating attorneys and marketing partners so they, or a law firm they work with, may contact you.
This policy covers information collected on this page, in email and text between you and us, and from ads that link here. It does not cover a partner, an ad platform, or another website. Those have their own rules.
By using this page or sending information, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the page or send information.
Who this page is for
This page is for people 18 or older who are asking about a possible workers' compensation claim. Do not send information about anyone under 18. If we learn we have a minor's information without a parent's consent, we will delete it. Email injuredpal@gmail.com if you think that happened.
Verus Mart is in Canada. If you use this page from the United States or anywhere else, your information may be stored in Canada and shared with partners in the United States. By using the page, you agree to that.
Information you give us
We collect your first and last name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and your answers. Those answers may include when the incident happened, whether it was at work, whether it was federal or postal work, whether you had medical treatment, whether you already have an attorney, and your description of what happened.
Injury and treatment details can be sensitive health information under some privacy laws. By sending them, you agree we may use and share them as this policy describes. You do not have to send anything. If you do not, we cannot connect you with partners.
Information collected automatically
We and our service providers may collect your device, browser, IP address, pages you view, the time of your visit, the ad or site you came from, and details in the link you clicked. We may use cookies and similar tools, including ad pixels. We may also keep a record of the consent you gave when you submitted the form.
How we use it
We use it to handle your request, send it to partners who may contact you, measure the page and ads, prevent fraud, keep a record of your consent, and meet legal duties. Calls, texts, and emails about your claim come from any partners of Verus Mart, not from Verus Mart.
Who we share it with
We share what you submit with participating attorneys and legal marketing partners, who may share it with a law firm they work with, so they can contact you. Partners may pay Verus Mart for that introduction. Some US state laws call that a sale or a share of personal information.
We also share information with companies that host the page, process the form, send messages, measure ads, and store consent records, and when the law requires it.
After a partner has your information, that partner's own privacy policy applies. We cannot pull it back.
Calls, texts, and email
If you check the box, you agree that any partners of Verus Mart may call, text, and email you about your workers' compensation claim at the number and email you provided, including by autodialer and by AI-generated or prerecorded voice, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Those messages come from any partners of Verus Mart, not from Verus Mart. Consent is not required to hire an attorney or to buy anything. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, or email injuredpal@gmail.com. Allow up to 10 business days for calls and texts to stop.
Your privacy choices
Email injuredpal@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." You can ask us to stop partners from contacting you, stop selling or sharing your information, or send you a copy, a correction, or a deletion. If you opt out of sharing before we send your request, we cannot make the introduction, because that is the service. We aim to answer within 45 days when the law requires it. We may keep a record of your consent and keep your number and email on a do-not-contact list.
How long we keep it, and security
We keep information as long as needed to handle the request, prove consent, and meet record rules, then delete it or remove details that identify you. We use reasonable safeguards. No method is completely secure.
Children, changes, and contact
This page is not for anyone under 18. We may update this policy. The date at the top is the last change. Using the page after a change means you accept the update.
